Primavera - Family Pathways Emergency Shelter Program (ES)

Description:

Family Pathways is a shelter program for families of any configuration with minor children who are currently experiencing homelessness.

Hours:

8:00am - 12:00p

Intake Process:

Referrals are completed by phone on Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm. To complete a phone pre-screen, participants should call 520-623-5111 during these hours. Intakes are scheduled Tuesday through Thursday. Participants will receive a call from the Program Coordinator within 3 business days, complete a pre-screening process, and be scheduled for an intake based on program availability. Same day or later accommodations may be offered depending on staff coverage. Individuals must establish guardianship and present ID for all adults, SSN card for all, BC documents for all children.

If a participant does not have access to a phone, they may come in person to the Primavera HIP center. In-person screenings are available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday between 9:00am and 12:30pm. Entry into the program depends on eligibility and compliance with shelter requirements.

Eligibility:

Participants must not be registered sex offenders. A pre-screen form must be completed and submitted before acceptance into the program. To participate in the 90-day program, individuals must establish guardianship of at least one minor child prior to entry. A valid photo ID, birth certificate, and/or Social Security card for all participants are required. However, residents will still be allowed entry without some documents at the time of intake. If they do not currently have all documents they will have seven days to obtain them. School aged child(ren) must enroll in a school setting within 30 days of entry.
