COT - CBI Toole Emergency Shelter (ES)

Description:

CBI's low-barrier shelter serves males who are experiencing homelessness in Tucson and Pima County. CBI!€™s shelter navigators work with the members to begin the recovery journey without the fear of losing their shelter. The participants are allowed to stay up to 60 days or longer if needed based on a case-by-case situation. Navigators will continue to work closely with the program participants to establish both short-term and long-term housing and income stabilization goals to achieve successful permanent housing. CBI can accept direct referrals from community partner agencies if they need a shelter bed for an individual meeting the shelter eligibility criteria and testing positive for COVID-19.

Intake Process:

Program staff review all inbound referrals. Program management review referral and confirm criteria met for program entry and schedule intake with member. Members must be cleared by a medical provider at CBI's Toole clinical location or external inpatient facility.
